Knowledge plays a critical role in the holistic development and well-being of society.

With the increasingly complex challenges facing our world today, we constantly need new solutions. For centuries, academia has built-up potent methods of cross-border knowledge production and collaboration that effectively translate research into innovative action. Academia’s unique ability to shape future generations with research-based knowledge equips it to contribute the skills and competitiveness necessary for society to thrive. As a credible voice in the public sphere and a fundamental part of building an open and inclusive society, close cooperation between academia and public actors is crucial.

This trialogue will discuss the impact of academia and education in society as well as the importance of cooperation across borders of many kinds.

Curating this topic will be Willy Silberstein, Journalist – joined by explorers, Sophia Eriksson Waterschoot, Director for Youth, Education and Erasmus+, European Commission, Ole Petter Ottersen, President, Karolinska Institutet, and H.E. Mr. Andrii Plakhotniuk, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Kingdom of Sweden.

Join us for a free and spontaneous exploration where the participants have not prepared in advance.
