For centuries, academia has built-up potent methods of cross-border knowledge production and collaboration that effectively translate research into innovative action. Academia’s unique ability to shape future generations with research-based knowledge equips it to contribute the skills and competitiveness necessary for society to thrive. As a credible voice in the public sphere and a fundamental part of building an open and inclusive society, close cooperation between academia and public actors is crucial.

This trialogue will discuss the impact of academia and education in society as well as the importance of cooperation across borders of many kinds.
