Autumn kick-off for Stockholm Dual Career Network

Sep 5, 2024

On September 4, the new semester started for Stockholm Dual Career Network (SDCN). At the annual autumn kick-off, new members were welcomed with an introduction to what SDCN is and what is available in the form of SDCN Academy, career support, events and more. It has become a tradition to invite a panel of former members who have now found jobs. Sameena Tarannum, Rodrigo Gimeno Martínez and Katharina Weinberger shared their experiences of being new to Sweden and how they went about continuing their careers in Stockholm. They also shared that SDCN has played a significant role in their lives in Sweden in many ways.

SDCN is a career support program for partners of international staff in Stockholm, founded by the Stockholm Academic Forum in 2015. Since its inception, we have come into contact with over 1000 accompanying partners, and the network continues to grow.
