Career Bootcamp for Stockholm Dual Career Network members

Jul 4, 2024

On June 27 and 28, Stockholms Akademiska Forum organized a career boot camp for members of the Stockholm Dual Career Network (SDCN). The first day consisted of interactive workshops on CV writing, LinkedIn, interview techniques and job search strategies. On the second day, the 27 participants met with recruiters from six different companies for short individual interviews.

The goal of the SDCN Career Bootcamp was to prepare the participants for their job search after the summer.

We would like to thank all participants, coaches and recruiters for a successful event!

Since 2015, Stockholms Akademiska Forum has been running SDCN for accompanying partners of international employees at the universities in Stockholm and affiliated partner companies. The aim is to make it easier for the accompanying spouse to settle in Stockholm, both professionally and socially. One of the main reasons why international employees decide to end their contract is that the spouse does not find a job in Stockholm.
