Podcast launch: Stockholm is a State of Minds

We have launched a new podcast: Stockholm is a State of Minds. To start well and settle in as a newcomer you need knowledge about career, community and culture in your new country. Therefore we have initiated this podcast.

Each year people from all over the world move to Stockholm – for work at universities, companies, and other organisations, for university studies, as accompanying partner, for love, or for refuge. Brilliant minds, who want to settle down, find a job, get to know the culture and understand society.

Join upbeat conversations exploring key topics commonly discussed over coffee breaks and meals as well as pivotal events that have shaped Swedish society for generations – helping peel back cultural layers and fast track the transition to your new home. And they will bring along guests – interesting people offering their own insights from deep knowledge in different fields. To mention some of the guests in upcoming episodes you will hear Karina Ericsson Wärn, CEO and Vice-Chancellor of Beckmans College of Design, talking about Swedish fashion. Lars Strannegård, President of Stockholm School of Economics, talking about his holistic view on academic knowledge. And Karsten Thurfjell, journalist well-knowned from Swedish Radio, talking about Swedish food and gastronomy.

The podcast is a part of our work with Stockholm Dual Career Network. It’s available wherever you get your podcasts.
