Hello SDCN community!

SDCN Ambassadors cordially invite you with family to join us on a day trip to the lovely island of Vaxholm on the 21st of September. The tentative plan is as follows: We meet at Strömkajen in central Stockholm to borad the SL ferry number 83 that runs on the Stockholm–Vaxholm–Rindö line. Once we reach the island, we can pick a spot that can accommodate all of us and pitch ground there. We can then form groups and take a walk on the island. Cycles are of course welcome and might also be an idea if some people would like to bike together. The weather at this point in time looks fairly good and might just be a tad chilly, but will get better as the day progresses. If we can locate a free BBQ spot, there are grocery stores on the island and we can buy whatever we would like to BBQ on the pit. If not, you are welcome to bring along some food that you like! Plenty of eateries around, if that is not the option for you! We can take it easy and make the day as long as there is energy!

On behalf of the SDCN Ambassadors, the following contact information could be helpful to locate us at the ferry point: Sujit Kootala, 0704124872.

Excited to see you all on Saturday!
(P.S. In case you cant make it on time for the above boat, here is a link to the timetable and you can join us during the day as well! Please let us know in advance if you cannot make it, so that we know the numbers and if we need to wait.)

Warm welcome,
SDCN Ambassadors
