Céline Montanari is a Researcher at the KTH Royal Institute of Technology, division of Biocomposites. She holds a Ph.D. in Fiber and Polymer Science from the KTH Royal Institute of Technology. Her research work focuses on the development of transparent wood biocomposites for structural applications. During her Ph.D., she has worked on “Transparent Wood Biocomposites for Sustainable Development”. She uses renewable materials and develops green chemical processes for the fabrication of fully bio-based and functional transparent wood with tailored nanostructure. Her expertise and research interests include wood nanotechnologies, biocomposites, green chemical modification, bio-based polymer synthesis, and sustainable development.
