James Savage

The Local

James Savage is CEO and Publisher for The Local. He is also the Chairman of the Swedish Magazine Publishers’ Association. James moved to Sweden from the UK at the start of the millennium and was a co-founder of The Local in 2004. He has a background as a journalist and writes features, analysis and opinion pieces. He’s also a panelist and regular commentator for Swedish, British and US media, talking about all things British, issues affecting international professionals and Swedish current affairs. He has a degree in history from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and a degree in broadcast journalism from University of the Arts London.
