Johanna Adami is the President of Sophiahemmet University. She is a medical doctor, public health scientist and professor of clinical epidemiology. She has also worked with health innovations in industry, the public sector and the government. Her research involves studying factors that increase the risk of illness with the aim of gaining more knowledge and improving the treatment of a wide range of health conditions. Her research focuses on lifestyle factors such as tobacco, alcohol, drugs, physical activity and how socio-economic factors affect the risk of illness, and evaluates how different methods can be used to influence these factors.
