Lindsi Seegmiller is a PhD student in Geoinformatics at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Sweden. Her current research centers on the development and application of spatial algorithms. She also focuses on theory and implementation of geodesign in urban and environmental planning.
Her broader academic and professional career addresses environmental problems using spatial data, processes, and thinking. Specifically, the areas of application pertain to urban planning, ecosystem-based management, and climate change mitigation and adaptation. She also holds a MESc from the Yale School of the Environment and a BA focused in Environmental Policy from New York University.
