Elisabet Yanagisawa is a doctoral student in artistic research at the University of Gothenburg, HDK/Valand. Her research is in aesthetic philosophy, sensory knowledge, affect philosophy, process philosophy and new materialism. She has been a lecturer in fashion and costume at Konstfack University of Arts, Crafts and Design, and art curator at Värmlands Museum. Today she teaches fashion design at Beckmans College of Design. She has a background as a fashion designer with her own label, e.yanagisawa.
