Dr. Eugen Steiner M.D., Ph.D., has over 30 years’ experience of leading life science companies. Prior to that he was active as a physician at Karolinska University Hospital and a researcher at Karolinska Institutet. Eugen Steiner has been a member of the BioArctic Board since 2017 and took over the chairmanship in 2023. He also has extensive experience as CEO or Chairman of several life science companies in Sweden, Norway, the UK and the US.

Today he is Chairman of the Board of Spago Nanomedical and Empros Pharma, Board member of A3P Biomedical, Inbox Capital, Epiendo Pharmaceuticals and Stockholm School of Entreprenuership, and Venture Partner in Healthcap.

Eugen Steiner is also a member of the Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences.
